Willst Du uns dabei helfen, Audi auf die Rennstrecken der Formel 1 zu bringen? Dann mache ein Praktikum oder schreibe Deine Abschlussarbeit bei der Audi Formula Racing GmbH an unserem Standort Neuburg an der Donau. Sei dabei, wenn wir die Power Unit entwickeln, die unsere Rennwagen ab 2026 antreibt.
 
Unsere Praktika und auch Abschlussarbeiten sind mindestens vier Monate lang und finden in Vollzeit vor Ort in Neuburg statt. Neben einzigartigen Einblicken in die Welt des Motorsports bieten wir eine faire Bezahlung und machen Dich zum Teil des Teams, das Audi in die Königsklasse des Motorsports bringt. Die Audi Formula Racing GmbH ist eine Tochtergesellschaft von Audi Sport und wurde im Jahr 2022 für den Formel-1-Einstieg der Marke gegründet. Ein Team von Expert_innen, die mit viel Leidenschaft die Power Unit entwickeln, wird Dich einarbeiten und begleiten. 
 
Unsere Stellen sind alle für einen Start im September oder Oktober 2024 vorgesehen und für eine Bewerbung brauchen wir einen aktuellen CV, relevante Zeugnisse, eine Immatrikulationsbescheinigung und ggf. die Prüfungsordnung Deiner Hochschule sowie eine aktuelle, offizielle Notenübersicht. Bitte beachte, dass unsere Abschlussarbeiten immer einem Sperrvermerk unterliegen und ggf. zusätzlich eine Geheimhaltungsvereinbarung mit der Hochschulbetreuung abgeschlossen werden muss.

In unserem Team arbeitest Du an der Konzeption und Entwicklung des ohne Zugkraftunterbrechung (seamless) geschalteten Getriebes sowie der Zentralhydraulik. Beide Systeme sind zentrale Elemente der Kraftübertragung und Steuerung der verschiedensten Fahrzeug-Sub-Systeme.Unser Fokus liegt auf innovativen, nachhaltigen, hochintegrativen und cleveren Entwicklungen im Bereich Konstruktion und Leichtbau von Getrieben und Hydrauliksystemen. Ziel ist die Weiterentwicklung und Optimierung des Getriebes sowie der Fahrzeugzentralhydraulik.
Deine Aufgaben
  • Du entwickelst direkt an einem zentralen Element der Kraftübertragung mit
  • Du unterstützt uns bei der Weiterentwicklung und Optimierung des Getriebes sowie der Fahrzeugzentralhydraulik
  • Zu Deinen Aufgaben gehört außerdem die Unterstützung der Fachabteilung im Bereich
    • Konstruktion
    • Zeichnungserstellung
    • Archivierung
    • Betreuung von Prüfstandsaufbauten
    • …und vieles mehr
Dein Profil
  • Du befindest Dich in Deinem Studium des allgemeinen Maschinenbaus, der Fahrzeugtechnik oder Ähnliches
  • Du hast ein gutes Fachwissen im Bereich Konstruktion, technischer Mechanik, Zeichnungserstellung, etc.
  • Idealerweise konntest Du bereits erste Erfahrungen in der CAD-Konstruktion mit Catia V5/V6 sammeln
  • Wünschenswert sind erste Erfahrungen mit PDM-Systemen
  • Du hast Freude am Arbeiten in einem internationalen Team und mit einer ausgeprägten Hands-on-Mentalität
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- oder Englischkenntnisse sowie die Bereitschaft Grundkenntnisse in der jeweils anderen Sprache zu erlernen sind Voraussetzung

Our Team
Do you want to help us bring Audi to Formula 1? You can… with an internship or final thesis at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg an der Donau. Join us as we develop the power unit that will drive our racing cars from 2026. 
 
Our internships and final theses take at least four months and take place full-time on site in Neuburg. In addition to unique insights into the world of motorsport, we offer fair pay and make you part of the team that brings Audi to the pinnacle of motorsports. Audi Formula Racing GmbH is a subsidiary of Audi Sport and was founded in 2022 for the brand's Formula 1 entry. A team of experts who are passionate about developing the power unit will train and support you. 
 
Our positions are currently scheduled to start in September or October 2024, and to apply we need your current CV, relevant certificates, a certificate of enrollment and, if applicable, the examination regulations from your university as well as a current, official grade abstract. As part of our team, you will work on the design and development of the seamless transmission (without break in propulsive power) and the central hydraulic system Both of these systems are key elements of the power transmission and control of various different vehicle sub-systems.Our focus is on innovative, sustainable, highly integrative, and clever developments in the areas of design and lightweight design of transmissions and hydraulic systems. Our goal is to further develop and optimize the transmission and central vehicle hydraulic system.
Your Mission
  • You will be directly involved in developing a key element of power transmission
  • You will assist us with the further development and optimization of the transmission and central vehicle hydraulic system
  • Your tasks will also include assisting the specialist department in the areas of
    • Design
    • Drafting
    • Archiving
    • Supervision of test bench setups
    • …and much more
Your Profile
  • You are pursuing a degree in general mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, or similar
  • You have good specialist knowledge in the fields of design, technical mechanics, drafting, etc.
  • Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in CAD design with Catia V5/V6
  • Initial experience with PDM systems is desirable
  • You enjoy working in an international team and with a distinct hands-on mentality
  • Full professional proficiency in German or English and a willingness to attain a basic level in the corresponding other language are prerequisites
